The truly hilarious thing about this is the person who could responsibly handle this bike is also the ideal rider for a BMW scooter. Riding a bike at highway speeds is one thing. You can get bucked around pretty good and hold on fairly easy. Try that on a scooter and you better know what you are doing.

Why not? S1000 is a pussy cat. It posts up big numbers, but it is so comfortable and easy to ride. It comes standard with ABS. And It’s got several ride modes which can limit total power output and/or throttle input based on lean angle.
Yeah, huge motor, tiny race bike. But, lots of tech and a full suite of safety aids that aren’t available on basic machines.
I’ll give this one a pass.
